FORCE Technology offers guidance on all sorts of technological areas. In your new job, you will work for the business area SenseLab, that is specifically focused on matters of sound quality. We conduct world-class sound quality testing for some of the industry-leaders in audio tech. The rapidly growing team is currently comprised of 6 specialists of various backgrounds, some engineers, a few PhD’s and a PhD-student, all of us intensely interested in sound quality.
We are a close-knit group and projects will often have everyone pitching in with their knowledge and skill sets. Our clients expect a lot from us, and when we live up to their expectations, it is on the back of a team effort. You will always have extremely competent and committed colleagues to exchange insights with. Additionally, you will be a part of a group of software developers and data scientists.
Your tasks, present and future
As our new software developer with deep data science experience, your task is primarily to work on machine learning (ML) models and incorporating them into our software for acoustic testing. You will also help develop the application, which we expect to play a critical role in the future of acoustic testing. You will be the driving force behind this very important development.
You will be a core member of the team, driving the ML work and collaborating with other acoustics and sensory evaluation experts to develop the next generation of software tools.

Working with the leaders in the audio technology industry means working on a lot of cutting-edge projects. As such, the challenges vary wildly in scope and direction. This means that you will constantly be finding new and innovative solutions, giving you valuable insight and experience.
What we expect from you
Being the go-to expert in the team means you must be able to work independently and structure your own workday. You will help define the technical foundation of our future machine learning tools, so you must be comfortable with high expectations for your work. And it would be an advantage for you to have great communication skills, as you will occasionally be explaining complex concepts to non-developers.
As to the more formal expectations:
- We expect to see several years of working experience with application programming languages such as C# (.Net), C++ and tools for data science such as TensorFlow, Keras, Python, MATLAB or other audio signal processing software
- We expect you to have a BSc. /MSc. in a relevant topic - e.g., computer science
- We would love to see an educational background within, or concrete working experience with, machine learning, preferably with regards to speech, acoustics- and audio signal processing
- You have an interest in audio or speech application using deep learning or feature extraction.
