A breath of fresh air!
FORCE Technology is opening up for business within the area of Metrology & Air Environment in Norway.
FORCE Technology Norway continues to diversify its business by adding another field of expertise to the portfolio. In addition to offshore, subsea and land-based activities, we are now measuring and analysing the air we breathe.
August 1st, last year, the EU Industrial Emission Directive (IED) was implemented in the Norwegian regulation. More specifically, its principles regarding best available techniques (BAT) has been updated with industry specific regulations as well as more frequent inspections, among others.
In Denmark, FORCE Technology has offered emission measurements to a variety of clients for years, at times even for Norwegian based clients. The Norwegian department will be supported by Denmark, which will ensure for a smoother start-up.
The department will be led by Thor Valsø-Jørgensen, a former Sales Manager for FORCE Technology Norway. As this area coincides with other areas within FORCE Technology Norway, such as inspection and testing, this experience will come to good use.
“This new area of business is very exciting and creates new synergies that our clients will benefit from. We look forward to expanding our range of expertise here in Norway,” says Henning Arnøy, Managing Director of FORCE Technology Norway.
«In Denmark, FORCE Technology is the leading provider of services related to measurement of emissions. We are appointed by the authorities as national institute within this field. So, it’s very natural for us to exploit the possibilities we have in Norway. They have a competent organisation used to work in the energy sector, as well as companies producing energy and thereof emissions that need to be controlled. The expansion is also in line with the ambition of becoming a leading Scandinavian operator within our main business areas», says Nils Linde Olsen, Vice President at FORCE Technology.
