We develop and sell automated ultrasonic inspection equipment to all players in the nuclear power industry. Our products ensure fast inspection, reliable data and reduced production costs.

Visualisation and documentation of quality

Our automated ultrasonic inspection equipment will optimise your inspection process whether it is carried out in-service or during production. Our equipment increases your inspection speed, provides reliable data and reduces your overall inspection costs.

Our high performance ultrasonic inspection system, the P-scan Stack System, can be used for various NDT inspection jobs. The system offers the best visualisation and most reliable data. Furthermore, it is the lightest and most robust all-in-one system available on the market.

The P-scan Stack System enables you to visualise and document:

  • weld inspection
  • corrosion mapping
  • thickness and corrosion measurement
  • crack detection
  • TOFD defect sizing
  • production control.

The P-scan Stack System has a built-in scanner controller that allows scanners to connect to the system without extra hardware. Naturally, the system is compatible with our complete range of scanners.

How to choose the right scanner?

Choosing the right scanner depends on different factors such as, the size of the element requiring inspection, your production capacity and requirements for examination speed. Furthermore, it depends on whether your inspection is in-service or during production. We develop and sell scanners for both situations.

Using our scanners in your inspection process will:

  • increase your production speed
  • reduce your overall production costs
  • reduce unexpected downtime
  • assure and document product quality.

We have a wide selection of advanced ultrasonic scanners to choose from. Below you can read more about them as well as download product sheets and brochures. You can also contact us directly or one of our worldwide P-scan sales agents.

Scanners

The automatic general purpose scanner AGS-2.
The AGS-2 is a magnetic wheel scanner, designed for remote controlled weld inspection and corrosion mapping of ferritic pipes, large structures and areas with difficult access.
The automatic weld scanner AMS-41
The AMS-41 is designed to deliver fast and reliable ultrasonic inspection of circumferential butt welds and flange welds on wind turbine towers or similar constructions.
The automatic pipe scanner APS-3
The APS-3 is a pipe scanner with emphasis on flexibility and fast set-up time. One of the features are inspection of pipe-to-pipe/pipe-to-elbow welds and corrosion mapping.
The automatic pipe scanner APS-6 is designed for inspection of non-ferromagnetic pipes.
The APS-6 is a chain-guided wheel XY scanner is designed for inspection of non-ferromagnetic pipes. It enables you to inspect pipes of sizes down to OD 100 mm.
The automatic track scanner ATS-1 can be used in a variety of different applications.
The ATS-1 is a robust XY scanner running on a track using a rack and pinion drive. You can use it for corrosion mapping of pipes and pipe bends and inspection of non-magnetic objects.
The automatic magnetic wheel scanner AUS-3 is used for pipe inspections.
The AUS-3 is a small, rugged magnetic wheel XY scanner primarily designed for pipe inspection. Use it for key point corrosion mapping, weld inspection and TOFD defect sizing.
The manual weld scanner, MWS-5, is designed for line scanning in relation to A-scan recording, TOFD and corrosion mapping.
The MWS-5 is a manually operated scanner designed for line scanning in relation to A-scan recording, TOFD and corrosion mapping.
