Inspection planning involves various activities performed in order to optimise the use of the inspection resources, while at the same time ensuring the technical integrity of the asset. The inspection planning is defined using a risk-based analysis (RBA), which is a method where one identifies the probability and consequence of component failure. During the operational phase, the planning may be updated with more information such as inspection data, corrosion monitoring and process data.
Once data is collected and evaluated, an inspection scheme is set and detailed inspection plans are furnished, based on these schemes. This ensures an optimised inspection program, which is both focused on safety while maintaining cost-effectiveness, targeting inspection where and when it is needed.
We offer customised solutions that utilise proven methods and specialised tools (e.g. Manifer) to ensure a cost-effective maintenance program. Following application of risk-based maintenance methods such as Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM); high quality maintenance plans are developed, maximising the assets reliability and integrity.
