We can monitor the actual conditions both regarding execution details such as homogeneity and quality, which over time may ensure that the structure fulfills its required function and design life. If defects or lack of quality are observed during the construction phase, these can be corrected to avoid expensive repair costs at a later stage.Often you trust that the quality of concrete structures are as designed. However, experience has shown that this is not always the case.

Can x-ray examinations be used on concrete?
We can x-ray concrete structures of up to 1.5 m in thickness. On concrete structures of 50 cm or less in thickness, we can achieve exposure times in about 1 minute, which is advantageous and time saving.
No other non-destructive method (available on the market) gives comparable accuracy and as detailed information as x-rays.
How to measure cracks in concrete?
We can measure crack depth and crack width, the latter also on dynamic cracks. We hold crack width maps, crack magnifiers and crack width microscopes with up to 40x magnification so that we can measure with 0.02 mm precision. With our digital crack width measurers we can also photograph the crack and indicate the crack width as documentation so that measurements can be compared over the coming years.
If you want a more detailed monitoring of the crack opening/closing, we can also monitor it with displacement sensors and data loggers with great precision and fast sampling rate. Combined with strain gauges fitted on the surface, you can further compare the strains in the concrete with opening/closing of the cracks.
We can also help you find out why you got the cracks by making a few non-destructive tests and examining the crack in our microscope.
How to find buried items?
We can also find items buried in the ground.We possess different cable and pipe finding systems but often we also use our geo radar, which has different antennas suited for localization of items in the ground. We have found buried metal pipes at 4 meters’ depth.
