The initiative develops calculation models and digital tools for predictive maintenance, extended lifespan and increased resilience of critical energy and transport infrastructure.

Ensuring robust and future-proof infrastructure

A well-functioning infrastructure is essential for a modern society. Denmark must upgrade its energy and transport infrastructure to support new energy sources and the green transition. At the same time, digitalisation increases dependency and vulnerability, including cyberattacks. The initiative focuses on innovative solutions for maintenance, security and resilience. Developing monitoring methods, sensors autonomous inspection and advanced calculation models will enhance durability and enable efficient infrastructure lifespan prioritisation.
