Flexibility

The mobile reverberation chamber has the following dimensions: 8,6 x 16,25 x 6,8 m (WxLxH). It is scalable and can be adapted to accommodate different products and systems on request.
No. EMC Field Solutions must always be installed in a suitable, protected environment. EMC Field Solutions is highly flexible and can be deployed in most operational locations.
EMC Field Solutions, that is the EMC-shielded inflatable tent and test equipment, supports testing of sub-systems on deck while berthed in harbour. The setup is typically deployed over a defined system or area, such as weapon systems, communication systems, autonomous systems or similar equipment.
Mobile EMC Field Solutions enables on-site testing at the customer’s location, eliminating the need to transport large, sensitive or security-restricted equipment to external test facilities. Stationary laboratory facilities can provide fully controlled environments and full-scale test coverage across all applicable methods. The EMC-shielded inflatable tent and test equipment are transported by truck, typically in two 20 ft containers, allowing efficient logistics and rapid deployment at customer sites.
EMC Field Solutions is delivered with a full EMC specialist team and is designed to be ready for testing within just 48 hours after arrival, subject to site conditions and setup.

Reliability

Potential electromagnetic impact depends on the test configuration, power levels and local environment and must therefore be assessed and approved case by case by EMC specialists prior to testing.
EMC Field Solutions is built on accredited EMC methods, equipment and expert procedures, with testing performed under controlled conditions to ensure repeatability, consistency and reliable comparison of results.
Customers receive accredited reports and documented test results, including measurements used for analysis, comparison and validation of electromagnetic performance.

Scope and limitations

EMC Field Solutions is a portfolio of products and services. In this context, it refers to a mobile, military-grade EMC test facility, including the EMC-shielded inflatable tent, test equipment, and a dedicated team of EMC specialists, delivered as one integrated on-site testing service.
EMC Field Solutions supports on-site MIL-STD-461 testing across a wide range of emission and immunity methods. For detailed coverage, please see the attached table. For additional standards or requirements, please contact customer service.
Not fully. It supports the majority of test methods. See the table in the datasheet.
Some radiated emissions tests (for example, RE102 and RE103) are only partly supported, depending on site conditions, setup and the surrounding electromagnetic environment.

Yes. EMC Field Solutions enables validation against indirect lightning and extreme electromagnetic threats and supports testing in accordance with DO-160 and NATO AECTP standards, including high-energy pulse and NEMP scenarios.
