Your first step toward international certification in Data Spaces.

Do you want to understand what data spaces are and the role they play in the future European data economy?

Data Space Fundamentals provides a professional introduction to the principles behind secure, trustworthy, and transparent data sharing across organisations and sectors.

The course is part of the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA) Data Space Professional Qualification Programme and represents the first step toward an internationally recognised certification in Data Spaces.

You will gain a solid understanding of key concepts such as governance, trust, and data sovereignty, as well as insight into how data spaces are designed, governed, and applied in practice —from architecture to operation.

Who should attend?

The course is relevant for professionals who work with, or wish to engage in, secure and compliant data sharing, including:

  • IT and data managers in private companies, municipalities, and regional authorities
  • Consultants and project managers working with digital ecosystems and data sharing
  • Organisations aiming to participate in or establish data spaces
  • Decision-makers responsible for digital strategy, data governance, or compliance

No prior experience with data spaces is required. The course provides a solid entry-level foundation.
