Denmark's material consumption is rising. Resource-efficient and circular solutions are essential to reverse this trend. Fewer sustainable resources and durable, reusable products must accelerate the transition.

New product requirements in a circular economy

The Ecodesign Regulation and the shift to a circular economy impose new requirements on future products. This initiative focuses on the electronics and machinery industries, developing solutions that reduce material consumption, extend product lifespan, and increase recycling. By combining expertise in materials, electronics, and digital technologies, the initiative creates models for lifecycle assessment, used component classification, and sustainable material selection.
