Introductory course for documentation of food contact materials and articles

The course will be held physically in Vejen - we hope you will show up and participate in the discussion, but online participation is also possible.

The course provides an overview of:

• Legislation regarding food contact materials

• Requirements for internal control

• The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration's general requirements for documentation

• Specific EU and DK requirements for documentation of plastics, ceramics, glass and enamel

• Usable basis for documentation of metals and alloys, rubber, silicone and coatings

• Documentation of composite equipment

This is a general introduction that is intended to provide a basic understanding of the issues regarding documentation of food contact materials.

Target group

The course is aimed at anyone, who do not yet have much experience in one or more of the areas discussed, or who feel that you would like to have the various areas covered again. The course will therefore also be relevant for you who may not work with documentation of food contact materials on a daily basis, but who purchase, handle, install or sell food contact materials.

The introductory course will also give you a basis for further work. Among other things, you will receive references to material-specific laws and guidelines.

Price

The course is not included as an activity in the ERFA club for food contact materials, but members and member companies can participate for 1,700 DKK per participant (50% discount). Participation without membership of the ERFA club costs 3,400 DKK per participant.
