We are happy to invite you to our November club meeting.
Theme
Wireless communication at frequencies above 6 GHz offers access to wide bandwidths and high data rates – but how suitable are these higher frequencies for industrial applications? This will be the focus of the day.
Your hosts for the day are Technology Lead Christian Kloch and Specialist Engineer Radheshyam Singh from Force Technology, together with Sven Lundbech from Tech Advisory.
We will explore propagation conditions, signal loss, range and the associated technical challenges.
Although range and coverage often become more challenging at higher frequencies, technologies such as beamforming, massive MIMO and advanced antenna solutions can help improve performance.
Participants will gain an overview of relevant radio technologies and their potential applications, along with insights into frequency allocation, licensed and unlicensed spectrum, and the current European spectrum landscape.
The day will conclude with examples of industrial applications and a workshop in which participants will select technologies, frequencies and network architectures for specific industrial scenarios.
The meeting will be held in Danish as an in-person event.
Price
Free for members of the IoT & Wireless Club. Non-members are also welcome to attend and may participate once as a guest.
