We are pleased to invite you to the next meeting in the ERFA Club for Hygienic Design with the theme Hygienic design as good business – from investment to documented value.

Theme

We focus on how hygienic design can create value throughout the entire life of the plant.

The day will be about Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and the business arguments for considering hygienic design early in the design process.

Experiences, risk reduction and life cycle costs

We start the day with a 'round table', where participants share current challenges, experiences and success stories from their own companies. This is followed by an introduction to the connection between hygienic design, risk reduction and life cycle costs.

The focus is on how choices made in the design phase can affect cleaning, maintenance, uptime, product safety and operating economy for many years to come.

Hygienic design in practice at Alfa Laval

After lunch, Alfa Laval will provide an introduction to the company and their development facilities. Based on the company's agitator platform, specific examples of how design choices affect both functionality, cleanliness and total cost of ownership are discussed.

Participants will also have the opportunity to experience the development facilities up close through a tour.

Workshop

In the late afternoon, participants work in groups on the central question within hygienic design: How do we convincingly argue that prevention is an investment and not a cost? The aim is to identify strong arguments and methods to make the value of hygienic design visible to management, investment managers and other decision-makers.

Tour of the production

The day ends with the opportunity for a tour of Alfa Laval's production for those participants who want further insight into the company's processes and solutions.

We look forward to seeing you.

Price

Free for members of the ERFA Club for Hygienic Design. It is also possible to participate without being a member of the ERFA Club for Hygienic Design. The price is DKK 3,100 per person.
