Event information

Join the Circular Products Conference for practical insights into circular product design and remanufacturing, with a strong focus on electronics and real‑world solutions.

Circular economy is one answer to how to develop and document sustainable products. Even so, the transition from a linear to a circular economy is not simple. Ideally, circularity has to be designed into products early in the development process, as about 80% of a product’s environmental impact is determined in the design phase.

Force Technology invites decision makers, engineers, and technicians working within development, quality, and sustainability to a day packed with inspiration, the most recent knowledge, and networking with knowledgeable peers.

The conference starts with a plenary session focusing on motivation and general aspects of circularity, followed by two parallel tracks focusing on products and materials.

The topics include:

  • Resources and materials
  • Circular product design
  • Foundation for longer lifetime
  • Facilitation of recycling
  • Digital Product Passport
  • Absolute sustainability and its integration in LCA models

Meet some of our speakers

We are bringing together a strong line-up of experts to share insights, practical experiences, and concrete tools.

Among the confirmed speakers are:

  • Circuit training revisited - There are many ways to sustainable production and consumption, but no way around it
Susanne Stormer, Chair, Global Sustainability Standards

  • Circular design thinking – climate targets and competitive advantages
    Tina Kaysen, Sustainability Manager, Kamstrup

  • Sustainability and trade-offs in product design
Jacob Arnbjerg, Lead Sustainability Materials Specialist, Grundfos

  • From reliability to circularity in power electronics
Ariya Sangwongwanich, Associate Professor, Department of Energy, Aalborg University

The event is part of the RnD-project Circular products: from design to remanufacturing

The conference is supported by the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science and the Danish Industry Foundation.
