Course Introduction
The International Data Spaces Association (IDSA) has launched the Data Space Professional Qualification Pro-gramme to bring a global certification standard for professionals working together in a transparent trust framework. Data Spaces as a technology creates new avenues for business models, cooperation opportunities and has been adopted by major European companies in supply chains in shipping, industrial production, and the EU Commission as the technical foundation in the big push for creating a European Data Economy. As the EU accelerates its data strategy, understanding Data Spaces is no longer optional – it´s a competitive necessity.FORCE Technology is introducing the first course in a series of 7: the Data Space Fundamentals course where certification serves as the first step for more specialized courses in this IDSA programme and the essential founda-tion of the internationally recognized certification in Data Spaces.
What You Will Learn
Data Space Fundamentals provides a professional introduction to the principles behind secure, trustworthy, and transparent data sharing across organizations and sectors. You will be certified in the fundamental understanding of key concepts such as governance, trust, and data sovereignty, as well as insight into how data spaces are de-signed, governed, and applied in practice — from architecture to operation.Key Learning Outcomes:

This course is the entry point for the IDSA Professional Qualification Programme. It is designed for professionals who wish to engage in secure and compliant data sharing and serves as the prerequisite for those aiming to special-ise in the following roles:
• Data Space Consultants: Professionals who guide companies on adoption, strategies, governance mod-els, and technology selection.
• Data Space Operation Engineers: Professionals responsible for the day-to-day management, operation, and maintenance of data spaces.
• IDS Components Developers: Professionals who develop technological components and solutions for data spaces.
Geographic Focus: As a leading RTO in Scandinavia, we expect to attract course participants primarily from Den-mark, but also broadly from Northern Europe and Scandinavia, fostering a strong regional network of data space experts.
Course Content
This two-day course provides a professional introduction to:• What a data space is and why it matters.
• Governance, trust, and data sovereignty.

• Practical challenges related to implementing and operating data sharing in ecosystems.
Course Form
• Day one 6 Hours training with breaks 9:00 to 16:00 – one hour lunch break (Lunch included)• Time for questions between lessons
• Max 15 student at each course
• You receive the course material for your preparation of you certification examination – that you will be in-vited to.
• Typically, your online examination take place 1 to 2 weeks after the course.
• The IDSA examination fee is included in the course price
• The course and course material will be in English – So will the exaimination.
• The teachers will be Danish citizens and help in Danish is possible.
