Claus Rømer Andersen has 20+ years of experience in testing and consultancy for electrical devices. He has worked as a freelance consultant, supporting development, market authorization, and maintenance of electrical medical devices for the last 8 years. Focusing on proactive safety by design, product risk management, and design control. He also engages in standardization activities: Convenor of IEC TC 62/SC 62A/WG 47, and active member of DS/S-562, IEC TC 62/SC 62A/AG 33, IEC TC 62/SC 62A/AG 50 and IEC TC 62/SC 62A/WG 48.

Louise Bünemann, Head of EU Environmental Policy at Danish Industry

Title of presentation:

Sustainable Products in EU Legislation 2025 – Competitiveness & environmental gains

Louise Bünemann is head of EU Environmental Policy at Danish Industry, covering especially EU product legislation in the environmental field. She represents DI in the green working groups of BusinessEurope and Orgalim, in the latter of which she chairs the Green Transition Working Group. Prior to working in DI, Louise worked as Head of the Minister's Office in the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries and in the Ministry of Social Affairs.

Skilled in metallurgy, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, root cause analysis, research, and product development. He has 14 years of experience in the mining industry as both a specialist and a manager, and 5 years of experience in the consultancy business as a specialist.

Charles Møller, Vice Head of Department at the MPE at Aarhus University (AU)

Title of presentation:

Towards digital product passport

Charles Møller is a professor of Industrial and Production Engineering with a specialization in smart factories and serves as Vice Head of Department at the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering (MPE) at Aarhus University (AU).

His research explores the dynamic interface between operations and information systems in industrial contexts, with a multidisciplinary approach that integrates technology, processes, and management. His current research interests include ERP and MES systems, IT/OT integration, digital supply chain development, and the advancement of smart production and smart factory concepts.

Pia Brunn Poulsen, Senior Project Leader in the department of Chemical Analysis at FORCE Technology

Title of presentation:

Problematic chemical substances in recycled materials

Pia Brunn Poulsen works as Senior Project Leader in the department of Chemical Analysis at FORCE Technology.

Pia has more than 20 years of experience in chemical legislation and risk assessment of problematic chemical substances in consumer products through various projects for the industry, national authorities (e.g., the Danish Environmental Protection Agency), and research projects.

Pia has for several years worked with recycling of materials with respect to chemical legislation and content of problematic chemical substances.
