Resilient wind energy – technological innovation and risk management in tough environments
Denmark pushes the boundaries of sustainable wind energy in challenging environments by reducing technological risks through data-driven innovations—enhancing resilience and accelerating climate efforts.
Strengthening the future wind sector with technology, digitalisation and specialised solutions
The Danish wind sector faces global market shifts. To enhance resilience, we focus on technological innovation, digitalisation, and specialised services. Five key activities have been identified: mechanical testing under extreme loads, blade inspection solutions, optimisation of design and operation in maritime environments, ensuring tower and foundation lifespan, and AI-based risk management. These initiatives will strengthen Denmark's leadership in wind energy.
