Inspection of tents and amusement park machinery prioritises safety above all
Tents and amusement park machinery must be legally inspected and approved before use and regularly. Get certified testing of tents and other transportable structures.
Mandatory inspection and certification of tents and other transportable structures
Tents and other transportable structures used for events, gatherings or temporary purposes are subject to inspection and certification requirements. Once certified, you can be confident that your structure meets the technical standards in the building regulations and can be set up for up to six weeks without a building permit.
Certification verifies that the structure is safe to use, complies with fire safety requirements and can withstand the intended load – a crucial requirement for both organisers and authorities.
Stay on top of certification requirements for tents
We inspect and certify tents and transportable structures following our DANAK accreditation and applicable legislation. This includes:
- Tents and structures for event hosting with more than 150 people
- Temporary sales or camping areas
- Structures intended for setup without a building permit.
As the owner, you can get assistance with:
- Visual inspection and review of technical documentation
- Assessment of load-bearing capacity, escape routes and fire safety
- Issuance of inspection report and certification
- Renewal of existing certifications.

Tents must be certified to be set up without a permit
According to the Danish executive order on the certification of transportable structures (BEK no. 673 of 01/07/2019), all transportable structures used for up to six weeks must be certified if set up without a building permit. The certification is valid for up to five years and can be renewed three times.

What defines amusemet park machinery?
Inspection and approval of amusement park machinery
All public amusement park machinery – large or small – must be inspected and approved annually to ensure safe use. This applies to bouncy castles, trampolines, climbing walls, slides, carousels and more. The inspection and approval are legally required and form the basis for operating the equipment.
FORCE Technology conducts inspections per our DANAK accreditation and applicable standards. Our inspectors are qualified professionals with in-depth knowledge of equipment and regulations.
You can request the following inspections:
- Initial inspection of new amusement park machinery
- Annual inspection to maintain approval
- Unannounced inspections for high-risk machinery.

Amusement park machinery inspection – step by step
We begin by reviewing the machinery's documentation in close dialogue with the owner. If necessary, an expert is involved in assessing technical matters. This is followed by a thorough physical inspection based on the relevant standard.
If everything is in order, we issue an inspection report and certificate, which forms the basis for final approval from the police. You are responsible for contacting the local licensing office for final approval.
What qualifies as amusement park machinery?
Amusement park machinery covers a wide range of equipment – from playground installations and bouncy castles to go-karts, zip lines and simulators. It is up to the local police to determine which equipment requires approval. High-risk equipment is subject to additional operational and inspection requirements.
