This short questionnaire is designed to help you assess your company’s current state concerning food safety culture. The questions concentrate on central topics of food safety policy and attitudes towards food safety.
It is important to stress that there are no right or wrong answers as the assessment is intended to reflect the actual state of concern and awareness on food safety in your company. A ruthlessly honest approach will provide you with the most appropriate feedback.
Your answers will be scored, and we provide you with a total score, together with placement on a general scale of food safety culture maturity. The answer will provide you with an overview of how your business is doing, which areas are already addressed, and which areas could need improvement.
The intention is to spark interest for improving food safety culture and increase awareness of the fact that all food producers are required by law to develop and maintain a food safety culture. This has been the cases since March 2021 (revision of the appendix in EU regulation 852/2004 on food hygiene).
Filling out this questionnaire should not take more than 10 - 15 minutes. There is a total of 12 questions: 9 questions which are graded on a scale, and 3 which are descriptive. The descriptive questions are voluntary, but any additional comments from you may give us valuable perspective on your thoughts about food safety and sharpen our feedback.
