Learn and connect – Join industry experts at EHEDG Denmark’s annual network meeting for insights, discussions, and networking.

EHEDG Denmark is thrilled to invite all interested parties to our Annual Network Meeting. Our intention is to create a day where attendees gain new knowledge, have time to network, and provide input to EHEDG and other actors in the hygienic design community on topics and activities to prioritize for 2025 and beyond.

This year's meeting topics have been carefully selected to reflect current hot topics and provide participants with new inspiration on managing risks associated with hygienic design:

  • Certification changes: EHEDG has made significant changes in certification, especially for open processing equipment. A new guideline and test method for open processing equipment have been launched, along with a simplification of the certification classes.
  • Hygienic design risk management: Due to recent new requirements from FSSC 22000 and BRCGS, hygienic design risk management has become a top priority for many food producers. Key requirements include that food producers must create purchasing specifications based on hygienic design needs, and equipment manufacturers must document compliance with these needs.
  • Hygienic design risk assessment (HDRA): The afternoon theme focuses on HDRA, based on new EHEDG guidelines on robotic systems and packaging machines. However, the topics will be relevant to all types of equipment, as we present tools to become more efficient in working with HDRA.

About the presenters

The presenters are all experts deeply involved in the topics they are presenting. Per Væggemose Nielsen has had a lifelong career in food safety and hygienic design within the international food industry. Dirk Nikoleiski and Alan Friis not only have decades of experience in the field but are also members of two key EHEDG working groups: Hygienic Design Risk Management and Integration. Furthermore, Dirk is EHEDG Vice President and member of several other working and Alan is chair of the EHEDG working group on Robotic Systems. Natacha Holmud has quickly established herself as an expert in EHEDG testing and certification, bringing prior experience from equipment manufacturing in the chocolate industry and member of the EHEDG working group concerning this industry.
