Water treatment and corrosion in technical systems/plants
Choice of the proper water treatment for a technical system is of great importance to the service life and operating economy of the system.
Participants
Engineers, machinists and technicians who are responsible for the operation and maintenance of boiler systems, district heating systems, cooling systems and other water sustained systems.Target
The participants will acquire better knowledge of the various available water treatment methods and of which impact such water treatment may have on the service life of the system.Content

- Cleansing of raw water prior to use in a technical system
- Addition of chemicals to cleansed water, and their impact on the water quality
- Controlling the water quality
- Corrosion; which parameters in the water have impact?
- Corrosion types, appearance and reason
- Guide lines for the water quality of technical systems
- Actions to be taken, when analysed parameters exceed the guide lines.
