FORCE Technology accredited within the largest calibration flow range in the world
The exceptional calibration flow range of up to 65.000 m3/h of the MEGA loop has been accredited by the Danish Accreditation Fund DANAK.
FORCE Technology's latest expansion of facilities for high-pressure calibration of flow meters, the MEGA loop, has received its accreditation for calibrations within the flow range of 120 – 65.000 m3/h at up to 65 bar static pressure and with a best uncertainty of 0,13%.
The accreditation means that the MEGA loop can now perform accredited calibrations within the largest flow range in the world to benefit the worldwide custody transfer value chain.

MEGA loop exceeds existing capacity on the market
The MEGA loop has unparalleled capacity in many ways. It is the largest closed calibration loop of its kind in the world, can handle the largest meters and longest metering lines on the market, and is now accredited for calibrations within the largest flow range on a global scale at some of the lowest uncertainty levels on the market.
Furthermore, the MEGA loop has been future-proofed with new technology that will enable it to calibrate with up to 25% hydrogen in natural gas. This is an essential prerequisite for the MEGA loop to be part of the ambition for a green Power-to-X transition.

MEGA loop now open for accredited calibrations
The MEGA loop was officially finalised and opened in the summer of 2023. Since then, the staff has focused on the accreditation process, culminating in the accreditation in November 2023. The MEGA loop is thus now open for requests for calibrations of all meter sizes with natural gas.
