Technology for a safer and more sustainable future
In a reality marked by climate change, resource scarcity, and growing social and geopolitical tensions, companies have a particular responsibility – not only for their own operations, but as active and responsible contributors to society.
Sustainability is not a contradiction to business, but an integrated part of it. That is why Force Technology applies ESG – Environmental, Social & Governance – as a strategic framework for responsible business development with documented impact.
How we turn ESG into impact
Climate change is one of the greatest societal challenges of our time, which is why we place a strong focus on reducing our environmental and climate impact.
We do this, among other things, by reducing our CO2 emissions. We are also working to reduce our resource consumption and increase recycling, for example through waste sorting.
Our employees are our most important resource. That is why we work purposefully to create good, safe and equitable working conditions where everyone feels valued and respected.
As part of ensuring attractive working conditions, Force Technology offers a range of programmes that support employee wellbeing and work-life balance. These include an attractive parental leave policy, flexible senior arrangements and a family and care agreement that provides good support throughout different life stages.
Strong leadership and a clear management structure are essential for running Force Technology professionally and sustainably. We strengthen our leadership culture through development programmes, ensure ethical conduct through our Code of Conduct, and promote diversity at all levels.
At the same time, we operate a financially healthy and responsible business by living our values, working based on data, and taking broad ownership of ESG.
At Force Technology, ESG (environmental, social, and governance) is the backdrop of our strategy and documentation in the area of sustainability. ESG summarises our efforts, ambitions, and results in terms of our environmental, social, and corporate governance-related responsibilities, which are described in our ESG report.
From May to October 2025, Force Technology completed an energy and climate audit to ensure compliance with the EU Energy Efficiency Directive. The audit was conducted in accordance with Executive Order No. 1138 of 18 September 2025 on mandatory energy management systems, energy audits, and climate audits for certain companies. The action plan for energy and climate can be downloaded here.
The UN Sustainable Development Goals as a guiding framework
Our approach to ESG goes hand in hand with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). We support all 17 goals, but place particular emphasis on those where we can make the greatest difference through technology:
Goal 3 – Good health and well-being: Promoting health and well-being across all age groups.
Goal 7 – Affordable and clean energy: Investing in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
Goal 9 – Industry, innovation and infrastructure: Strengthening sustainable innovation and technology.
Goal 12 – Responsible consumption and production: Reducing waste and promoting circular solutions.
We are committed to action. Both on a small and a large scale. Both internally and externally. This is how we contribute to sustainable development – and drive a healthy business with society in mind.
