Flowmeters for liquids other than water
Calibration, verification and advice on flow measurement with meters and measurement systems for liquids other than water, including oil, petrol and diesel.
We calibrate meters for many different purposes, such as:
- Crude oil meters in offshore or onshore facilities
- Lubricating oil meters
- Petrol and diesel meters at fuel stations
- Meters on oil tankers, milk tankers and tankers
- Ramp meters at depots and refineries
- Cryogenic meters.
Additionally, we assist with uncertainty calculations and budgets, as well as technical audits of measurement systems to ensure compliance with requirements.
Technical specifications for calibration
- Test benches in the laboratory (Diesel or Isochem): 1 - 7,500 l/min or 1 - 6,500 kg/min.
- On-site: 1 - 5,000 l/min or 1 - 4,300 kg/min.
- At temperatures around 20 °C or ambient temperatures.

Flowmeters for air and gas
Calibration of meters with air on the world’s largest air facility, which has a capacity of 20 m3/h (Q-min) to 25,000 m3/h (Q-max).The air calibration facility can handle all flowmeters for measuring air and gas, including:
- USM (ultrasonic meters)
- Turbine meters
- Swirl meters
- Coriolis meters
- Flare gas meters.
Diameters up to 50" and flow rates between 1 m3/h and 25,000 m3/h are possible.
Calibration with air under atmospheric conditions is often used as an initial test of meters as it indicates the meter's stability before use.
The accuracy of the air meter is also crucial in process facilities where air is distributed as part of a production process. These meters must be calibrated with air under varying pressures and flow rates.
